Accountants Who Speak Service-Trust, Pty Ltd, and Patient-Fee
Whether you are a doctor, dentist, specialist, surgeon or allied health professional, we handle your tax, structure and back-office accounting so your time stays with your patients. We get your service trust and PSI position right, manage your novated leases and the FBT on your practice cars, and keep the whole thing running.
Your Time Goes to Patients, Not Your Tax Position
You trained for years to practise medicine, not to track PSI tests, service trust benchmarks and the FBT method on the practice car. Between clinic lists, on-call and AHPRA obligations, the financial side waits until June. We know how this actually plays out for doctors, dentists and allied health, and we structure the work so it stops landing on you.
You are a contractor at one clinic, employed at another, and unsure how PSI changes the picture
Whether you are a GP, specialist, surgeon or anaesthetist across a public and private mix, we test your income properly, set up a contractor or service entity structure that holds up, and tell you plainly what you can and cannot claim before you lodge.
You own a practice and the chair fees, associate agreements and equipment never sit cleanly in the accounts
For dentists, orthodontists and practice owners, we build the service trust to the ATO benchmarks, reconcile chair and referral fees each month, and claim the depreciation on chairs, scanners, X-rays and fit-out so the structure stays sound and the deductions are not left on the table.
You suspect you are missing deductions, but you only hear from your accountant once a year
From sole-trader physios, psychologists and osteopaths to multi-clinic and NDIS-funded providers, we work a healthcare-specific checklist every year, indemnity, AHPRA, CPD, income protection and salary packaging included, and we are reachable in between, not just at tax time.

We Are in Your Corner, and We Fight to Keep More of What You Earn
We Speak Your World
PSI tests, service trusts, chair fees, theatre and indemnity. You should not have to explain how medicine works to your accountant. We already know it, so the conversation starts with your decisions, not a lesson.
Structured to Hold, Not Just to Save
It is easy to cut a tax bill with a structure that falls over under review. We build your service trust to the PCG 2021/4 benchmarks and document the position, so the saving is one you keep if the ATO ever asks.
A Senior Accountant Who Answers
You get a direct line to someone who knows your file, not a new junior each year. We plan before June 30, flag what is coming, and reply within hours so you are never guessing where you stand.

What Healthcare Practitioners Ask Before Switching
What is PSI and does it apply to me?
Personal Services Income (PSI) rules apply when more than 50% of your income is for your personal effort or skills (typical for sole-practitioner doctors, dentists, allied health). PSI restricts certain deductions and forces income through to you personally unless you pass the results test or other tests. We assess your specific situation.
Can I use a service trust to reduce tax?
Often yes, with limits. A service trust can employ admin staff, lease equipment and provide services back to the practice. ATO PCG 2021/4 sets benchmarks for what mark-ups are acceptable. We structure the trust to pass and stay passed.
Are professional indemnity premiums deductible?
Yes. So are AHPRA registration, college fees, journals, CPD, professional conferences and equipment purchases. We have a healthcare-specific deduction checklist we work through annually.
How is FBT on practice cars handled?
Statutory or operating cost method, whichever is lower. We run both every March. See our FBT Perth page for the detail.
I provide NDIS services, do you handle that?
Yes. NDIS provider accounting has specific GST and registration nuances. See our dedicated NDIS Accountants page.
